Artist/Owner – Gina M Opacki

Coming from a family of Artists, I live and breath creativity and I have a natural talent for color, and dimension. For me creativity is a feeling, a real emotional reaction

I have worked in the building industry for many years, designing, building, decorating or staging and have found that each person, place or thing has its own unique style waiting to come out.

After years of physical work, the powers that be said “slow down lady, I have a better idea for you”. I was with a group of girlfriends one day and overheard one asking the other if she wanted to come to her house and do some beading. I asked if I could join them. And that is all it took. All my senses took note and I was hooked. I haven’t stopped since. It’s been almost two years now that I have been creating wearable art and I love it,

I believe everyone has his or her own unique style and taste. Just as I did in my home design and staging, I do with my creations. No two are a like. I work from simple and sweet to bold and beautiful.

I love to use precious and semi-precious stone and Swarovski® crystal in my art. I attended bead and stone shows to buy Lampwork beads directly from the artist’s then create wearable art around the beads. I use Gold filled wire (12,14/20), sterling (.925) silver, pure copper, and mixed metal for my colored wirework. I love to bend it, shape it, beat it, wrap it, ant twist it. I will use Niobium wire for ear hooks in some of my designs. Niobium wire is considered one of the most hypoallergenic wires on the market. I would be happy to switch out ear hooks for these if the is a metal allergies. The wire is dark and will not match gold or silver work. I can also clear coat the gold, silver, copper or mixed metal if requested at time of purchase.
